Transfers of Supervision DNA/Fingerprint Information
Pennsylvania Act 147 of 2018 broadens the types of offenses that require DNA collection. Specifically, non-felonies have been added. Parents/juveniles may be required to pay a fee for DNA collection. Per this Act and ICJ Rule 5-104, PA will impose the condition that DNA and/or fingerprints be submitted at the time of acceptance or during the term of supervision. Failure to submit DNA and/or fingerprints may be considered non-compliance, which may result in penalties for the juvenile.
